3 basic tips to work with photo captions and give meaning to your Instagram
1. Work on the caption text
Captions help define the tone we want to convey in our publications. It is recommended that you maintain it, since this way your entire Instagram feed will be consistent. Although you can also go off script from time to time! If you want to make a caption with long text, remember that you have up to 2,000 characters, but don't forget to insert line breaks to make reading easier. Write down all the captions in your notebook, be creative, experiment and play with words.
2. Use hashtags
Another trick to increase the reach of your captions and organize your content is to use hashtags. There is a limit of 30 hashtags per post, however, it is recommended not to use more than 4 or 5 for them to be effective.
3. Interact with your audience
Create Calls to action or calls to action to interact with your audience. For that, you can enter questions related to your photography. For example, if the image is of a city, you can ask for tourist or restaurant recommendations. You can also ask for opinions on the topic you discuss in your post, this way you will generate debate and interaction. On Instagram it is important to create a community and take care of the details. Don't forget to reply to your followers.
