“Making a Plaster Cast Hi. In this lesson, you'll learn how to create your plaster cast for our mushroom bowl. We'll be using, like we mentioned on our materials class, dry plaster powder. Dish soap or hand soap to be used as a demolding agent and a bowl filled with water. I filled this with the capacity of this small bowl we'll be using for the mold. I added the same amount of water.
