“Materials to Decorate your Pieces Hi. For this lesson, we'll go over all the different tools and materials that we need to glaze our ceramic pieces. Since we'll go over five different glazing techniques, I'm going to explain which materials we'll use for each. First of all, for our lesson on bone dry clay, we'll be using acrylics. With these acrylics here, we don't need any color testing. Once it's dry, you'll get the exact same color that you saw on the package, except maybe a little darker.
