“In this lesson, you will learn the first fundamental technique to artisan rope work, which is stitching a spiral. The first thing that I'm going to do is I'm going to create a neat edge on the rope to make sure it's really tidy. So I'm just going to cut away that fluffy little bit at the end. And then, in order to start our spiral, I'm going to take the rope between my thumb and finger, and I'm going to fold it over itself. And then I'm going to fold it over itself again. And I'm going to do that two or three times, almost as if you're making a snail pattern. And then once I have a section ...”
