“In this lesson I will show you the materials and tools that you need for your Artisan Ropework projects. The ropes that you choose to work with will greatly impact the final product. I choose to work with a natural unbleached cotton which is an 8mm or 6mm. This rope in front of me is an 8mm. You could also work with a sisal or jute to create different effects. As long as the rope is fully braided throughout it should give you a nice strong structure. For the final project we're going to work with this 8mm rope.
