“In this lesson I will show you how to plan your design before you start stitching. The first decision that you need to make is to decide what type of rope you're going to work with and what thickness. So the two ropes that I have here they are both unbleached cotton rope that is fully braided and the difference between them is that this one on the right is a 6mm and this one is an 8mm rope. You can see the difference between the thicknesses of the rope when they're spiralled together here and here. So you can see that this 6mm creates a finer spiral and the 8mm creates a slightly thicker sp...”
