“So now that you've finished with stitching and cutting your design, in this lesson I'm going to show you an optional step on how to create an embellished border. So at this stage what we're going to need is some cotton thread or polyester thread, just regular sewing thread, a tapestry needle, I've also got some pins, embroidery scissors, a ruler or tape measurer. So we're first going to start by working out where the border is going to go. So I am thinking of placing it around one centimeter away from my buttonhole edge around here.
