“So now that I've taught you how to do the buttonhole stitch and how to create bars, I'm going to show you how to create openings in the fabric. So I'm going to first start by showing you a technique called pull thread. The way it works is we are playing on the structure of the fabric and we're pulling together the fabric to create different patterns. So for this we're going to use tapestry needles, so number 24, number 26 or 28 are good sizes. I'm going to use a 26 here. Embroidery scissors and also some regular stitching thread.
