“So now that we've learned about creating embellished openings, in this lesson I'm going to show you how to come up with a design. So with that in mind, what I was looking at was this idea of, you know, femininity but the other side of that. So I really love needle lace from the Middle Ages and there's this idea of maybe witchcraft, of maybe the feminine that we don't really understand, sort of the darker side of what women have made. So I was looking at tarot cards, for instance. I was looking at anatomy and the sort of knowledge that people have gathered because knowledge is also power. So...”
