“In the last lesson, we talked about my influences. And in this lesson, we're going to discuss some of the materials that we'll be using in this course. So I have in front of me a selection of the materials that we'll be using. So the first tool that I want to talk about is the charcoal pencil. This is going to be our main drawing instrument that we're using throughout the course. And I have a couple of different kinds of charcoal pencil here. This is a peel-away charcoal pencil. This is the main pencil that I use for most of my drawings. And I prefer this because it has minimal fuss to it. ...”
