“ Influences In the last lesson, I talked a bit about myself, and in this lesson, I'll talk about some of my favorite artists who have influenced my work. Henry Yan was my first teacher at art school. He shaped the way I see and think about art more than anyone else, especially when it comes to figurative art. I cannot overstate how much of an impact he's had on me, and his work continues to influence the way I draw and paint even today. I love the way that he interprets the figure and uses light and shadow in an expressive and calligraphic way. My next influence is Zhaoming Wu. Zhaoming Wu...”
