About the final project for: Handmade Metallic Watercolors

Metallic handmade watercolors

“You have reached the end of the course, I am very happy to have shared this experience with you, since one of my objectives with this workshop is to promote love for the professions so that they last. I thank you very much for purchasing the course! It's time to make your own personalized metallic watercolor palette. I'll share with you the process that I would like to see about your project: Find your inspiration Whether in an analogue way like the journal that I have shown you or in a digital record, start collecting images that challenge you, don't give it too much thought! It can be anything, photos, textures, color palettes, film captures, etc., and it doesn't have to follow a speech. You will see how by putting everything in the same place things will begin to make sense and you will find common places in what you choose and thus you will begin to see which colors represent you the most. With your chosen colors, do some tests with the material you have at your disposal in your logbook. Later in this notebook you will test the watercolors that you make.

The binder When you already have all your materials and tools, the first step to start making your metallic watercolors is to make your binder, the material that makes the pigment transform into watercolor.
The watercolors Experiment with metallic pigments and create the colors you want by keeping a record in your logbook.
The container Anything that has a little hole in it and doesn't dissolve with water can be transformed into a container for your magical metallic handmade watercolor colors.
The watercolor box Put together your box of handmade metallic watercolors! If you prefer you can create one.
The adventure does not end here, you can continue creating colors and putting together the palettes that you like the most. Colors are subjective and you can always look for new combinations that appeal to you based on your personal taste. Don't forget to share your course project by clicking "Create your project" so I can see it. I ask you to be a little patient because I may take a while to respond, but in the meantime, check out your classmates' projects. If you have any questions when you are working, ask me in the forum, I will be answering you when possible. The wonderful thing about the Domestika forum is that it allows you to meet and collaborate with creatives with the same interests as you and from all over the world. Take advantage of this and if you have any advice or opinion that you want to tell a colleague, don't hesitate to do so, It will surely be welcomed by all. I loved sharing my work process, I hope that now you can fill your world with unique colors. See you!”
