“ Drawing Animals on Location In this lesson, I'll give you some tips on drawing animals out in the world. Now, you have done some lessons in drawing animals, and you might want to take this further. What would be useful is to go out and draw from real-life animals. There's a long history of reportage illustration, which is going out and capturing what's happening there and then, but you have to work quickly. At the beginning of this course, we did some quick drawing exercises. That's when this comes in useful to capture things that are moving and are there in the real world. Drawing moving...”

Amy Dover is a UK-based artist and illustrator specializing in drawing our animal friends. She has worked as an artist for 14 years, has had her work exhibited internationally, and has collaborated with international animal charity organizations. Amy is a practice-based Ph.D. student at the School of Arts and Culture, Newcastle University, and has a master’s from Edinburgh College of Art.
