“In this lesson, I'm going to give you some tips on drawing animals out in the world. So now you've done some lessons in drawing animals. And you might want to take this further But what would be really useful is to go out and draw from real live animals. So there's a long history of reputage illustration, which is going out and capturing what's happening there and then, but you have to work really, really quickly. So way back at the beginning of this course, we did some really quick drawing exercises. And that's when this comes really, really useful. to capture things that are moving happen...”

She has worked as an artist for 14 years, has had her work exhibited internationally, and has collaborated with international animal charity organizations. Amy is a practice-based Ph.D. student at the School of Arts and Culture, Newcastle University, and has a master’s from Edinburgh College of Art. Amy has recently been creating work on the human impact on endangered species and the sixth mass extinction, hoping to raise this as a critical concern. In addition to her activism and academia, she also works as a commercial illustrator in design, advertising, and publishing.
