“ Drawing Textures and Details In this lesson, I'll show you how to draw textures and some things to avoid and some things to do. The main mistake people do when drawing fur is they try and draw the lines rather than the shadows. When people start drawing fur, they tend to draw the lines like this, which is useful when you get to the final details but that isn't what fur looks like. You need to draw the shadows and use your white space to get the texture of fur. Drawing fur is quite complicated, and it also helps if you're drawing anything else. You should look at the shadows, not the lines...”
