“In this lesson, we use an object and a photograph to learn how to draw in proportion. So here I have a crow's skull, which is very light and a little bit delicate. So we're gonna have a little look on how to draw this in proportions. It's quite dirty, but sometimes the dirt is quite handy for figuring out where things go. So the biggest mistake people usually make when they try and draw things in proportions is they try and draw the outlines. And that is where it can go horribly wrong. You want to look. at the shapes that are in it, the negative space around it and where things are in proxi...”

She also works as a senior academic at MIMA School of Art and Design at Teesside University.

Amy has recently been creating work on the human impact on endangered species and the sixth mass extinction, hoping to raise this as a critical concern. In addition to her activism and academia, she also works as a commercial illustrator in design, advertising, and publishing.
