“ The Texture Now we have a simple foundation, it's time to add some texture in this lesson. We'll start working from the back, building up the layers and adding our colours. Often, I find it's best to think of these pictures as almost like you're building a set of a stage or a theatre, working from the background, getting closer and closer to the audience, and putting in the scenery, props, and other things that will make our artwork more interesting to the viewer.
