“ About Me Hi, my name is Mike. I'm an independent artist and art tutor. In this lesson, I'd like to tell you a bit about myself. Let's start at the start. I was always an arty kid growing up. My parents encouraged me to mess around with crayons and paints and get into a right old mess, but my earliest memory of creating art was around at my grandmother's house. She collected all her recycling into a big old bag, cardboard tubes, toothpaste boxes, and the packaging that food came in, handed me a set of scissors and masking tape and I'd occupy myself for hours sticking them together making c...”

After spending the majority of childhood painting and drawing, Mike studied art at high school before enrolling in arts college, and earning a BA in Creative Arts from University. After graduating, Mike moved to London to pursue a career in graphic design.
Since then, Mike has worked with brands including Arsenal FC and Bonhams Auctioneers, and his work has been featured at exhibitions including Royal Tunbridge Wells Art Society Summer Exhibition (2022), South East Open Art Studio (2022), and the Art Escape Exhibition (2020). Mike also shares his work with 14K followers on Instagram.
