There is something I find interesting in linework that you can use in life drawing, observational drawing, or any drawing. If you feather out a line, meaning if you have a soft line, it will recede. If you have a strong, thick, or sharp line, it has a tendency to come forward. I will change my opacity. Using the value or the color of the shirt, I'll feather it out a bit.
