Once you have the basics of embroidery and that you have practiced enough, do not hesitate to vary the patterns and shapes. Don't limit yourself. The embroidery possibilities are endless. For example, I made a series of embroidered landscapes which I then framed by hand. I then wanted to enlarge these landscapes. I challenged myself to create a screen by drawing a much more spontaneous and free pattern. The clothes are also very inspiring.
