“The point of past flat In this lesson, I will teach you a first embroidery stitch. It is called the flat satin stitch. This is one of the points I use the most in my landscapes. It allows to cover large areas of wire, to create flat tints, but also gradients. I use classic DMC mouliné thread. It is my favorite. It consists of six strands that you can separate from each other in order to have a more or less thick thread. For this exercise and in general, I will divide it to keep only four strands.
