“My sources of inspiration In this lesson, I will tell you about my main influences. I will start by telling you about Japanese prints. They have a special place in my work. They inspired me with frank horizons and very strong compositions. When looking briefly at a Japanese print, it sometimes seems that the structure is quite simple, but on closer inspection, we see a multitude of details, nuances and variations. The prints taught me to play with perspective and distort it, and also to create different plans. I wanted to show you this print first which I find quite impressive in its compos...”
