“Final Assembly Now that the waves are painted, I decided to add details to the base. I painted the waves blue. You can see a lot of imperfections on this wood. Little cracks from the crate. I like that, it’s part of my work. Let's start to assemble the automaton. Before we do so, I want to add something to the crank of our helical axis. When we cut wire, we get a burr and that can hurt someone. I decided to fix that. You can use a bead. There are different shapes and sizes.
