The white balance
A course by Paolo Pettigiani , Photographer
About the video: The white balance
Overview
“Now, we can start shooting! As a first step, I will teach you how to set a white balance for infrared photography. It will be useful to avoid seeing totally purple images in your camera display and to better separate the shades of vegetation from the rest of the landscape. In this way, it will also be easier for you to compose the shot using the "Live View" and you will be able to better distinguish the elements that make up the image.”
In this video lesson Paolo Pettigiani addresses the topic: The white balance, which is part of the Domestika online course: Infrared Photography: Capture the World of the Invisible. Learn to capture light invisible to the human eye and take infrared photographs to creatively reinterpret the world around you.
