About the video: The artists who inspired me
Overview
“Each of us, through photography, has the opportunity to represent their own vision of reality. The way we see the world around us can be influenced by many things, and for this reason it is important to train your eyes by being inspired by other inspiring works. Whether it is photography, film or music, it is useful to surround ourselves with new suggestions that help us broaden our creative horizon. To do this, social media such as Instagram are very helpful, but if you have the opportunity, I recommend that you go to exhibitions, browse books and look for the beauty of what surrounds us even in the most normal things of everyday life. In this lesson, I'll introduce you to the work of three artists I love such as: Richard Mosse, Wes Anderson, and Reuben Wu. I will also present you the Aesthetica Mag magazine from which I like to take inspiration.”
In this video lesson Paolo Pettigiani addresses the topic: The artists who inspired me, which is part of the Domestika online course: Infrared Photography: Capture the World of the Invisible. Learn to capture light invisible to the human eye and take infrared photographs to creatively reinterpret the world around you.
