“Intarsia In this lesson, I'll teach you how to do intarsia, which is the technique we'll use when we change color. First, let's look at this jacquard sample. Normally, you knit the jacquard in the round. You have both colors with you all the way so you have these floats on the backside, which may get very thick. The jacquard is very useful when you knit small repeatable patterns like this one, which is repeated multiple times, but if you have to do something with a bigger shape and color blocks, the intarsia technique is useful.
