“Cast On and Ribbing In this lesson, we'll do the cast on and then I'll teach you how to do ribbing. To not make the cast on too tight, I'll use two needles to cast on. I'll hold them like this. A little trick is to wrap the yarn around your fingers for every 10 stitches you're casting on. It almost fits every time. If the yarn is very thin, you'll probably have a bit too much.
