“So in this lesson, we're going to make some full-scale mock-ups to test out the actual size of this thing that we're going to build. Because although these small sketches are fantastic to figure out overall proportions, it's really hard to see the actual scale when it's this big. The first thing we're going to do is cut out a couple of pieces of cardboard to represent our shelves. Now to do this, you can use any type of cardboard. It doesn't need to be brown like this one. It can be old packaging material. This is just to get an overall shape and size before we commit to cutting the pieces ...”
