Business Strategy for Creatives: How to Sell Your Art Online

“Welcome to the "Final Project" section and thank you so much for taking this course with me. I hope that you enjoyed all our classes as much as I did! I am now going to show you how to share each step of your final project with the whole community. Start by deciding what products you want to create and sell. Tell us all about your business!

Think about the ideal audience for your products and create a customer profile to have a detailed idea about the people you will mainly interact with.
Then, define your milestones and objectives using the provided document. You can also do a SWOT analysis.
It's now time to build (or rebuild) your brand! Think about all the details about it. Don't forget to create a mood board to help you maintain internal cohesiveness.
Start your business using selling platforms and social media to promote your work! Remember to take care of your customers and pay attention to every detail! And, if you feel unmotivated, you can always take a look at the "I love my business because" document!
Refer back to the "Milestones and objectives" document every week and check the completion chart section so you have a good idea of what you need to complete for the following week. At the end of the month, have a meeting with yourself and go through any roadblocks and solutions that you may have faced. It’s important to always have future goals in my mind to help your business grow. Add any new milestones that you have in the "Future milestones" box. Finally, give yourself a rating out of 5 stars to how successful you think you have been that month. Continue to use this document to help your business grow and reach for the stars!
I hope this course gave you a better understanding of your business and helped you find new ways of improving it! Don't forget to comment on other people's work on the forum and give constructive feedback to help them improve. I’ll be sure to let you know my thoughts when I can, though please remember that I’m often busy with ongoing projects. Thank you again for embarking on this adventure with me! I wish you all the best in everything!”
