“Creating a Character When I create a new character, I like to go through my sketchbook and see what I've already made. Things that I pay attention to are colour combinations that I like, sketches I've made from observation or maybe pictures that I've used as a reference and the drawings I've made from those. Now, for the character I want to create, I think it's nice to create a spread with the person in different positions. This is easier if there is something else involved. Looking at the sketches we've made during the course, It’d be nice to, for example, add the cat. I've made this grand...”
