That way we’ll all learn from each other. I want to share with you some extra tips and insights that will help you create your growth strategy for your YouTube channel. The first step is to better understand YouTube and how to work with the algorithm and not against it. Remember: the algorithm is constantly being updated, but there are a few guidelines that can help you meet your goals. My first advice is to keep in mind that the algorithm’s main objective is to match viewers with videos that they want to watch so that they spend as much time as possible on the platform. So, the trick is to make your videos relevant for your audience. My second tip is to find a niche for your channel and content. Having a specific niche helps your audience set their expectations. Also, having clarity on your niche will help you grow an ecosystem. So, set a theme and the community will expand. My third advice is to take advantage of the branding opportunities that YouTube offers. Your profile picture and banner should be easily recognizable and consistent with each other. Thumbnails are a good way to engage your audience: it is the first sneak peek into your content so it’s important that you display 75% image and around 25% text.
