About the video: Creating an Attractive and Engaging Visual Result
Overview
“An important aspect of your design is going to be the visual effect you want to create. In my particular case, I try to promote reused materials as both aesthetically pleasing and welcoming, avoiding the visual connection with disaster scenarios as seen in films like Mad Max or Blade Runner. I will show you how I build a Pinterest board for each project to try to identify the visual effect we are looking for. In the Organic Growth Pinterest board, I introduced several still lifes containing flowers, references to the work of the Spanish photographer Chema Madoz and anatomic descriptions of Hydrangea macrophylla. In this lesson, we are going to analyse how these multiple semiotics work together.”
In this video lesson Izaskun Chinchilla Moreno addresses the topic: Creating an Attractive and Engaging Visual Result, which is part of the Domestika online course: Eco-Friendly Pop-up Architecture. Learn to design small scale installations from scratch by exploring the principles of circular economy.
