“Face-Drawing Exercises Now I'll show you how to work on the face, which is more complex. Much of what I said earlier applies here. For this part, I enlarged the photo so that only the head is visible. I marked the top of the head and the chin here, and the eyes are positioned exactly along the center line. The distance from the eyes to the mouth equals that from the mouth to the chin. The ear starts here, on the same line as the eyes, the nose is right between the mouth and the eyes, and here we have this last line that indicates the end of the mouth, approximately.
