“Observational Drawing and Basic Proportions We chose our reference, and now I'll quickly show you my drawing process. I like to create a sketched-out look, with looser lines. I don't really like adding detail in the drawing all the time, and I prefer to more or less eyeball the distance measurements. Of course, this is personal preference. Feel free to do whatever you like. My watercolor style is looser, so I like to reflect that in the drawing as well.
