About the final project for: Basic Principles of Graphic Design

Basic Principles of Graphic Design

“Dear student, you have reached the end of the course. Thank you very much for choosing me as your teacher, it has been an honor for me to share with you what I have learned over the years. I hope that now you see the world of design with another perspective, remember that it is a wonderful world that anyone can be a part of. As a final project of this course you will have to make a poster for a photography exhibition. Before saying goodbye, I want to talk to you about what I hope to see in the forum when you share it. To begin with, tell me about the theme you chose for your poster. Also, share with me a bit of your brief and the resources you will use, such as images.

Explore and share some formats that you think might be interesting.
Get to work and place the image in the format you chose. Keep in mind the basic elements that I taught you like color, spacing, typography, balance, rhythm, contrast, hierarchy, and alignment. Once it's done, you'll have your poster!
Be sure to share how your poster turned out for an art exhibit. I will be eagerly waiting to see your project, and I will give you feedback as soon as possible. I invite you to see the projects of the rest of your colleagues, if possible, give them feedback in a respectful way. I hope that the course has been useful to you and that it is the beginning of your new path as a designer. Until next time!”
