Printed Product Design for Visual Brand Identity

“We love to share our creative methodology with you, as well as some techniques that we put into practice in our studio projects. We hope that through these tools you will be able to develop an appealing and differentiating stationary in your final project and that you will also be able to apply it to your future projects. Below, you will see a part of the stationary creation process that we covered in this course: Mood board

These are also some essential tips and points that you should take into account when developing your project: • Researching in advance, opening up horizons, analyzing the brand we have at hand and how we can deploy it are very important steps before starting a project. • Analyze the websites that we mentioned and that we left you as additional resources and use them also in your project. Check what can be an inspiration, and what characteristics can be a match with your brand and what it represents. • Search hard, open your eyes to things that at first glance may not seem to serve. Analyze trends, what is happening in the market. • Remember the potential of the materials you have at your disposal. See how we choose our supports and finishes and try to apply the same reasoning to your project, highlighting your brand through its concept and style. • Every detail matters when developing stationary parts. The choice of typography, colors or arrangements applied (whether it is centered or justified text on the left, with grotesque or delicate letters, etc.) are important. Do not forget to check if there is any application that can enhance your pieces. • When developing the artworks, don't forget to print beforehand, read and reread as many times as necessary, to avoid annoyances and that the work has to be reprinted due to a serious typo that may have escaped. • Be patient, experiment without fear, explore supports and finishes, ask your printer what alternatives you have if you want something more specific. We look forward to seeing the result of your project, so don't forget to share it on the forum, as well as the images of the process so that we can follow all the phases. If you have any questions, we will be in the forum to resolve them as far as possible. We also want to invite you to comment on the work of other colleagues on the forum. Ultimately, we can benefit immensely from the opinion of our professional colleagues. We hope that this course will be an asset for your future and that it will contribute to a fantastic final project! ”
