You can design just one pattern and use it in so many different ways. One pattern can be a rug, a bag, a pillow... It can even be a sweater. You just need to modify that a bit. Molla Mills is a crochet designer and author from Kurikka, Finland. Handcrafting was always present in her family life, so she has been sewing, knitting, crocheting, and weaving from a very young age. In 2008, she launched her first crochet collection, which was centered on selling small batches of handmade products. After studying a master’s degree in applied arts at Aalto University, she decided to take her crochet career in new directions.
Molla has published five books on Virkkuri crochet, and is currently working on her sixth one. Her books have received international recognition and have been translated into eleven different languages. As well as sharing her designs with over 99K followers on Instagram, Molla currently teaches crochet workshops around the world. She also creates a variety of crochet designs for different yarn houses and has her own yarn line, Malla Kalalanka.
