It can be quite repetitive. The style is also a very personal one rather than teaching broad principles. Also- I would love some more tips on how to take good pics. She seems to just snap snap and get them great. She has talent- I need tips

Bought the course for the aesthetic appeal of the plating as someone, who loves to elevate the everyday experience of food and eating at the family table. Still dipping my toes into the content and hope to take away inspiration to the mundane.

The course was quite in depth and presented well, but I wish there were more examples of plating and staging of food/dishes.

Estoy agradecida de lo aprendido y de la inspiración recibida con este curso, mas siento que hubiera estado bueno tener más información básica sobre cosas a tomar en consideración a la hora de decorar (reglas de plattering, colores, etc.), ejemplos más variados (todos llevaban el estilo de la profesora) y diversos ingredientes de decoración (siempre usaba semillas, aceite de oliva, sal y pimienta). Igual sí lo recomiendo para quien desea iniciarse en el Food Styling, específicamente para fotos.

I am still finishing some of the units, but Jodi Moreno reall knows what she's doing, and that's been a real discovery for me. The course is well organized, lessons and extra materials always on point, and it's also giving me new ideas!

So, I have to admit that this course turned out not to be what I hoped it was. I wanted to learn more plating technique, but it's clear this is meant to be for photography, not food in general. As a chef, I wouldn't expect my guests to eat some of the things she's styling with, and, of course, if I took as long as she does to style ONE plate, my food would be cold. Having said that, if you're looking for food PHOTO styling, then yes, it's good. I wish she wouldn't say "pop" so much.
