“There are two basic ways that you can blend colors in. acrylic, unlike oil paint, which is very slow drawing. where you can work a lot wet into wet acrylic dries so quickly. The opportunities of working wet in the wet are less. but you can mix colors to some extent that way. When you've just applied the color, it's still going to be a little wet for at least a few seconds. So if you add, for instance, an area of mid-tone here, and you want to add some lighter tone, next to it. You should be able to blend it in a little bit. But I find a more useful technique with acrylic for graduating from...”
