“Okay, so you've taken a break and you're back. And now it's time for the spit and polish. stage of the illustration, which is the final stage, you have to be harsh with yourself. You need to take a good look at your painting if you can see areas that aren't working so well, things that didn't work out exactly how you expected. And along with polishing up and tidying up, you want to try and correct those issues if there are any.
