“Coloring Beetles Once we remove all the excess from our beetles on the stain layer, it will look like this. The truth is that it already looks good, you can use it to make other patterns and designs. We'll use them a different way. We have the detail layer locked and the stain layer. We'll now duplicate the stain layer by using the shortcut Ctrl + J to copy it, and we'll place it on top of the detail layer. It will cover our layer. We decrease the opacity to about half.
