“Photoshop: Creating a Brush In this lesson, I'll teach you to create a brush from scratch and to edit one using the brush preferences on Photoshop. Let's start. First, let's open Photoshop and click on the Tool tab. That's what Photoshop looks like when opened. We click on this button on the left that says Create New and this window will pop up. First, let's change the name of our document. Let's call it Beetle Pencil. You can give it the name you prefer.
