“Deepening and Completion of the Work We've worked the face, the hair, and clothes. But notice the face still needs more contrast, a more dramatic quality. It's a little lackluster. We'll be working certain areas again to add more character to them. For instance, I'll be starting on the eye area. I'm using a size-one brush to add some black watercolor to the eyelashes. Immediately, the eye looks much deeper than before. It's always key, when working two similar elements, to work them in tandem. Don't finish an eye first and then the next one. They'll look uneven.
