Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

Thanks Alex,very enjoyable. My first course and great guidance. I have been sketching for a while, mainly faces, but have always loved buildings and have taken lots of photos in Europe which I would love to convert to a sketch.

I love Alex's painting style. He is definitely a master artist. One thing I would have stressed more, especially for beginners, is that he wasn't necessarily trying to reproduce what was in front of him. It was a little confusing for me until I figured out that he was trying to paint "an idea" of a street scene rather than an actual place. Anyway, I learned a lot about working in layers and combining pencil, pen and watercolor. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this class. Alex is a great teacher, and I love the way he paints. It is a class for anyone, beginner or advanced, to learn more about drawing and painting architecture. He also talks about composition, colors, getting the best angles, and finding your own style. I give this course a big thumbs up! Thank you, Alex!

This course is really great. The process is paced really well and has meant that I am now drawing and painting buildings feeling confident and enjoying the outcomes. Alex is an interesting teacher. I highly recommend this course to anyone at any level.

Es fascinante lo que Alex hace, lo sigo por Instagram y es un artista reconocido, me sorprendió gratamente que diera este curso, nunca hubiera podido tomar sus clases , así que ni bien lo vi me anoté. Solo mirarlo trabajar inspira, transmite paz y como extra es muy interesante su historia y todas las reseñas y recomendaciones extras que publica como links o lecturas .

Muy buen curso, muy claro y didáctico!

Aprendí mucho de la combinación de la perspectiva, pocos detalles usando la tinta, manejo de los colores para generar sombras y los toques de las manchas. Excelente curso.
