I recommend this course, because in the short time we learned from Alex, we not only learned about the techniques, we learned a lot about other artists, paintings in general, mistakes and how to avoid them, personal experiences we would never be able to hear from an artist. Alex is a very good teacher and a wonderful mentor. I personally learned so much, when he narrates the things he does, he is giving so much insight, I have the feeling I read a whole book! I really enjoyed it!

I'm loving it. I feel much confident about lineal perspective. He explained perspective in very simple but effective way. I haven't finished and I already feel like I got my money's worth.

By attending the course Alex has motivated me to get started again on water colours. I was into water colours some 15 years back. I am retired and wanted to get back into art. I was doing digital art for a while thanks to the people at TodayatApple. I would like to thank Alex for restarting my fire as I went out today to buy some paints and pens. He had made me appreciate water colours more and his technique is interesting. Can't wait to get my hands on.

A comprehensive and friendly course, as a non professional painter I was always afraid of using watercolors and the course provided me with the basic techniques of  watercolors as well as a fresh glance at architectural sketching. I enjoyed Alex's class very much.
