Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

Very good class. It covers all the basics but also puts a lot of emphasis in encouraging the student to develop his/her own artistic style.

I think the courses are well organized and very clear. Alex shows us how he progresses to what he is today in terms of his styles. It gives me some tips as far as my roadmap to progress. Enjoy the class.

I watched this whole course in just one day, and now will gather my supplies, get my workstation set up and re-watch these sessions to follow along more slowly as I try my hand at architectural watercolor. I really enjoyed his manner of presentation and clarity of explanations. Can't wait to get started!

What a talent and what a teacher. Brilliant course which provided everything I was hoping for and needed to help me progress my own work. Loved the step by step tuition with clear explanation and demonstration. I have learnt so much I just need to put it all into practice and very importantly avoid ‘mission creep’.

Enjoyed the course, learned a lot and would certainly recommend it. Instructor is personable, friendly, not intimidating. I especially liked the personal background information of instructor, like getting to personally meet him.

Verständlich, umfassend und übersichtlich, natürlich kann man nicht erwarten, nach dem Kurs die Kunst so locker und perfekt zu beherrschen wie Alex, aber viele gute Tipps und Anregungen zum Üben, und darauf kam es mir an! Voll zufrieden!

good course. My only complaint is that during several key demonstration sequences the teachers head obscures his demonstration on the page!

also his resources are good. although i would like even more!

Alex's work speaks to me. He is an excellent teacher. For the first time, I understand and can use one- and two-point perspective. I will continue to review and practice his lessons and hope to learn better the light touch of his pen work and the expressiveness of watercolor. Thank you, Alex.

After twenty years practicing as an architect I finally overcame my fear of watercolours. Easy going and well paced course.

Alex is an excellent teacher. He broke down each element so that even a novice like me could quickly catch on and employ the strategies in my own work. I enjoyed the course immensely. I recommend it to anybody with an interest in watercolor and would welcome the opportunity to take other courses presented by him.
