The best part of the course for me was information on perspective and light and shadows. The artist has a particular style that I do not use so that part was less important to me.

Excellent course and teacher

Excellent, really well explained and guided by Alex.

Alex teaching style is refreshing. It’s like discussing art with a friend. Even if you are an experienced artist, he has advice that will help you improve on your own style. His and my style are very different but he strives for his students to develop who they are as artists, rather than to be just like Alex.

The course was explained in a clear and concise way. I learned a lot of techniques in watercolor and perspective drawing. I recommend this course to beginners like me who are keen to learn from a knowledgeable teacher 🙂

More information than I expected. I am a beginner in watercolors and am extremely pleased with the course. Alex has a way and style that is informative and at a pace where I can absorb what is being said, but not so slow that I get impatient. Alex loves what he is (doing) painting and that zeal, excitement and enjoyment comes across clearly. I would be interested in more courses taught by Alex. He is an articulate, knowledgable teacher who has superior oral communication skill.
