If you look closely at her far eye, you can see that there's a highlight in the near eye, and there is just a little bit of an edge of a highlight that's just over the bridge of her nose. It's very small but it's just enough to add additional interest to her stare. I want to think about her whole unit of the eye as being a ball that's being covered by her eyelids. So, this part, the sclera or the white part of the eye is a sphere that is pointing towards us where the iris is, and then slowly turns away from us.
