“MAKING ROUGH COLOUR In this lesson we are going to start the rough colour. We will refer back to the tonal sketch that we made earlier. In my case, I've made a very dark background. That will be my starting point for the colour. It's good to keep referring back to this if needed, you can see which are the lights, dark areas, shadows... The first thing I'm going to do is to drop in a dark tone. I'm using the palette I previously created, it still works well for this, the colours are nice and bright.
