“PRESENTATION OF MATERIALS In this lesson, I'll talk about the materials you'll need to complete this course. We'll start with a sketchbook and a pencil. We'll use that to create thumbnail drawings and small sketches and then we'll scan that. I'm going to use the iPad to both assemble reference material and to create the digital artwork at the end. You're free to use your desktop machine or you can even do an analogue piece with this. I'm gonna use Affinity Designer to create my artwork. Since 2008, Steve has won over 50 awards for both packaging design and illustration, including Gold awards from the Association of Illustrators, Illustrators Guild of Ireland, the IDI and ICAD. He's been an awards judge for Adobe, 3x3, and the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators, and is also a founding member of the Illustrators Guild of Ireland and OFFSKETCH.
