Meet Designer Juju Lattuca in this Domestika Diary

Juju’s work features experimentation and upcycling
Juju Lattuca isn’t afraid to experiment. Many of her works involve repurposing and re-engineering materials that would normally or have already been discarded. As a product designer and social media specialist, she serves her clients from Rio de Janeiro.
Juju shows you the results of some of her favorite collaborations and reveals her creative process in this Domestika Diary.
Sustainable fashion
Juju’s repurposing collaborations include a pair of glasses she developed for Zerezes that are made out of 35 straws!

Juju also created a collection for SRI Clothing using printed remnants from their previous collections.

Upcycled art
Juju’s latest personal project sees her creating accessories, brooches and frames out of the pieces of plastic she finds on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro. She sees her work as a way of experimenting. She combines shapes and textures from discarded materials to give them new purpose and meaning.
